listercs
Hi Folks, New to the forum and there is loads of helpful information, keep it up! I have a question which I cannot seem to find the answer to. I have dropped the 3.9 into the 90 and just getting the finishing touches ( Haha ) sorted out. I have been searching for the correct bottom rad. hose to use. I will be using a 2.5TD rad with built in oil cooler. The original RR bottom hose is no use and I have heard of people using a NTC3543 off of a carb V8, from what I can see it may well do the job but with one exception, it has no T in it for an expansion bottle. Rather then try and cut it and fabricate some sort of t piece and join back again. Does anyone know if there is an off the shelf hose that will do the job? if so can you please post the part number as I'm getting a bit confused. I do have the original RR hose but it seems to be at the wrong angle to fit the bottom entry/exit of the 2.5TD rad. Help appreciated. Thanks Hector

Thanks Hector Hi Hector, I've just done the same on my 90 (donor was a Discovery but I suspect very similar to rangie), and have the same 2.5TD rad. The biggest problem I had was that the bottom rad fitting is straight rather than angled (like the disco rad). After lots of searching through parts catalogues I ended up using an odd piece of angled hose (from my old engine) and joined it to the end of the disco bottom hose with a straight couple insert. Dave Hi Dave, Thanks for the note. I was hoping a "normal" V8 hose may be straight at the end. I have ordered one from LRDirect and will never ever use them again, 4 e-mails and three calls to K Motors and no one will tell me where my order is. K Motors are saying they can e-mail the guys ....I could go on and on.....all I want is my hose...Anyway thanks for the info. Hector
