simonr
And where did you get them?.... do they have any more? i could do with several A better question would be - "who on earth would want to eat rat-packs by choice?" Full of lovely bromide! (much like wedding cakes so I'm lead to believe ) Si

RPR
They were never "good" per se, but they will remain reasonably suitable for human consumption if that's your question. A friend currently in Iraq recently told me that they had gotten a pallet of MRE's in their unit that were of First Gulf War vintage. Apocryphal perhaps, but plausible.... Guest WALFY
ditch the pate would be my advice! Why?? Nothing wrong with the pate. I've got a civvy mate who is ex Para reg and gave him a load of bits and bobs compo wise and he claims to of eaten all the biscuits brown I gave him. Not bad since it was only 24 hrs previous and 15 packets of biscuits. Now he WILL have some trouble over the next couple of days!!!!!
