TheRecklessEngineer
I've got this: But the sticky outy bit* needs to be chopped back. I will need some sort of rubber trim cover to tidy it up. Anyone know where I can get such a thing? *technical term....
steve_d
Form a full radius to the end of the bar then get a piece of door seal, cut off the seal bit leaving just the bit that clips to the door frame (often material/canvas covered) this can then be run along the top, round the end and along the underside. If it is reluctant to stay in place a cable tie behind the mount should do the trick. Steve
NicTheOrange90
This is a great place to get this type of trim and finisher by the meter http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/trim-13-c.asp
TheRecklessEngineer
Cheers guys, nice bit of U channel with steel bit ordered. I'll use steves suggestion and chop+radius the end to make it bling.
