Jimmy Two-Jacks
Just thought I would look at getting some either torx or Allan bolts for the door hinges does anyone know the pitch and thread and of course the size of bolts for early 90 hinge bolts? Cheers
western
I bought the Mudstuff SS bolt kit for my 110, must get the remaining bolts fitted. http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/Stainless_Steel_Bolt_Sets.shtml give Kev a ring, he will advise on the best kit for your truck. mike4444244
remove a hinge to bulkhead and a hinge to door bolt and measure the length, they are as Les said M8x1.25, save yourself some money and pop into your local fastners place, always worth buying a new set of captive nuts for the bulkhead, they are really cheap and there will be at least one that you won't take alive! ChrisM_110
Early 90/110 captive nuts aren't metric. For stainless bolts you'll need Td5> captive nuts, which are metric, and generic Torx [yuk] or allen bolts. Eight genuine captive nuts and c/sunk bolts from somewhere like Seascrew will be half the price of a kit.

I will replace them with some m8s though. Thanks again James
western
Yep, 5/16 UNF or M8, did a reply in the part number forum earlier today. don't forget the M8 'J' nuts for the bulkhead pillars
JonM
How do you insert the J nuts? Blowed if I can see how to get them in there.
Les Henson
There's a square hole right above the hole where the bolt passes through. You hook it in the square hole and press it until the nut is inside with the thread behind the round hole. Les.
