outdoor_ian
Thankyou for the fast reply Mr Oracle of land rover bits. Are the there any prons or cons to internal or external grills ?
western
externals could be forced off causing body damage, but protect the glass, whereas the internal version would be a 2nd defendce after the glass had been smashed.
Godlykepower
Externals can rust. Internals can give you some extra place for hanging things like camera or laptop bags etc.
GL88
Are there any internals that allow access to open the sliding windows?
mmgemini
Are there any internals that allow access to open the sliding windows? MOBILE STORAGE SYSTEMS.....allow access to the catches....I made sure when I asked Nigel to make them for me. With internal the windows are protected from things flying aout inside should you not have strapped things down. You can hang things on the internal window grills. mike
outdoor_ian
So internal window grills it is. Does one of the manufacture's stand out over the others for ease of fitting or quality? I'm off to Billing on Friday so if they have them there a purchase will be made.

Cheers From memory i got my set from simmonites then had them painted same colour as my car to help hide them. still looks like a riot van imo but the nato green does not help. They are very well made and I fitted mine using bolts so that they can be removed easier then having to drill out the rivets. best of luck.
