BogMonster
Blimey, it's even quieter in here than in another Freelander forum I can think of

sixpot
LOL - nice thread.... I actually got WAVED at by a Flunkrover owner the other day. So surprised I nearly crashed into him... Cheers Luke
MarkieB
I'll say this for Freelanders, at least they're Land Rovers [just]. In a car park with its fair share of jap carp, x5's, other sundry impersonators such as the volvo xc90, even a Freelander is a sight for sore eyes
TJ101
Oi,, nought wrong with the XC90,, on road ,, make the Disco look and drive like a 1950,s series,,, very good bit of kit,, (on my 3rd)
sixpot
Hmmmm. Unfortunately for Solihull the "impersonators" get better and better. In a straight shoot-out for Mrs Ds new vehicle the Jeep Liberty/Cherokee won hands down over the Floda. 210bhp, low range gears, fantastic handling (without the aid of air or electronics - LR please note...) and an interior that doesn't look like '80s Rover parts bin. Sadly, it's starting to look more attractive for my 70 mile round trip to and from work than my Series III. STAY BACK OH FOUL TEMPTATION! STAY BACK!!! Happyoldgit
I'm only a short**** so I've never understood why I usually hit my head on the doorframe when I get in and out of SWMBO's..

I guess Jeep are the ones really who are the victims of impersonation, I seem to recall even the Series were a spinoff from the GP [or was it the CJ]. The cherokee is a different style, though, plus merging with the germans was a bit off
Simon_CSK
I like my freelander very much, so much so The CSK has not moved in three months Although having briven a Disco 3 on myLandrover experence I wish had bough one of those instead.
