Trying to decide between these in 265/65/18 or the general AT2s in 255/60/18 ...... any opinions and pics would be appreciated! Cheers. BogMonster Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 It will be pretty tight if it does fit - I have 255/70R16 on mine which are slightly oversize. I have heard some people say you can fit 265/75R16 on which are a similar size to what you are looking at (in fact slightly bigger) so you might get away with it but it would be tight and the spare won't fit on the back door. Personally I'd think the 255/60R18 AT2s will be a better bet and they will be slightly bigger than standard. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
2drdan Posted July 31, 2009 Author Share Posted July 31, 2009 Thanks for the reply, yep I did think it 'd be tight, I'm on 255/55/18 at the mo and wanted a bit more space under the diffs.... I'm not ruling out a suspension lift in the future and would look at 1" via spacers if required immediately .... however, I might be persuaded to go to 2"......... !!!! For the back door, from what I understand the spare carrier can be turned upside down to create the extra gap with a cut out for the wiper..? Cheers Phil.
