M8274 with a Bow2 motor ?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have been offered a fried M8274, so I'm evaluating some options to fit a new motor. I have been told that Bow1 is a direct replacement but, what about the Bow2 ? anyone tried or knows if it's possible to do so?

Thanks in advance,

Carlos

Hi,

Thank you for the advice about snapped carrots, I will gor for a BOW1 instead.

Regarding the BOW2 availability, there is a firm here in Spain who is selling them (I have to confess that I have never seen a real BOW2 in my life and have no way to say if it's real or a chinesse thing  ) for 399 euro. But being awared about carrots and scammers... I'll try to buy a BOW1 once my mate gives me (for free  ) the fried 8274.

Thank you for the precise information, your comments are really valuable,

Carlos

Ditto what Andy said - is it a proper Bowmotor 2? They haven't been produced for years and are rare as hens teeth!

But, yes, they can be made to fit :)

i think there are some Bow2 (later design?) in the pipeline due in the next few months
