darzo
Morning! In the process of changing the rear wheel bearing but so far have only removed the wheel. Is there any special way to remove the drum? Just can't seem to budge it! Help! Cheers Edited to say: Don't worry it's the 32mm nut that is stuck, trying to find an extension.... rustymark
Hi Rear wheel driveshaft outer nut is staked to the driveshaft. Make sure you have knocked out the portion using a cold chisel or similar to raise it clear. The nut is also extremely tight. If you do not have access to a torque wrench that is capable of a force of 275 lb ft ( 373Nm ) then I would advise against disassemby until you can as you will need this to be correct when refitting - its an essential safety item.
