kingdong2
Hi guys i was looking under the disco i have just recently bought and came across the sedimenter thought it was in a great place being its a 4x4 vehicle lol anyway got thinking is it possible to do away with the sedimenter and just change the fuel filter more often as it would make servicing alot more easier. graham ______________________ 1962 2a swb 200 tdi. 1997 disco1 300 tdi. errol209
It was optional on the 90/110, so I'd guess so. It only really catches the big cr*p anyway, hence the name.

Most people only clean the sedimentors out every 10 years + if at all until they cause a problem. It only takes half an hour to do the job. Chances are you will never need to do it again once it's done. Definitely stops water getting any further, just drain it now and again. Lot cheaper than a rusty injector pump. Wot Mr NDFI said, and I meant to describe that it was an add-on to, not a replacement for, the filter.
