Unsworth Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 Hi all.. Im on the lookout for a Steering box for a 1996 (P registered)Defender 130 300tdi.. Its currently got a "4 bolt unit".. A simple question is.. Will a Discovery 300tdi item fit as long as its a 4 bolt?? Just as theres more scrap 300tdi Discovery's than Defenders letalone 130's!.. G4FUJ Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 I used to own a 127" (just pre-Defender name) with I think a 3 bolt steering box (it was some time ago!) Certainly the steering box was the same as a Ninety / OneTen item. I don't know whether the parts lists would help.
