tpk241 Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Hi All, Just picked up a cheap donor 300 TDI Disco ... The middle cylinder head stud (the ones that the rocker shaft slides down onto) has sheared due to someone overtightening it (no not me ) ... Has anyone replaced one of these, is it at all possible ? If so a part number and some advice would be great ! I looked at Les's head removal article in the tech section and see they are fixed into the head but cant see an obvious way of getting them out from the pics. Many thanks in advance... (and hoping its not a new head to get the engine going again) ... Stu Edit: Looking at Les's pic again i see the middle one is missing in the picture, so i assume they do come out ?
