Jamest535 Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 question my disco rear sun roof rattles alot when driving when it is open, i have looked and everything looks ok, but the front sunroof dont rattle. onions Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 My Disco 1 sunroofs rattle like buggery on anything but a perfectly smooth road. I've been over and over them and can't get them to stop. So I just keep them closed as it avoids breaking the seal I have created using grease to stop water leaking in when parked on an incline. I now just look at them as if they are emergency exits, and believe me, my missus had to use a sunroof as an emergency exit on one of our previous cars, so I don't rule it out. Pete Attryde Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 My Rear one does this also. found that the slider attached to the glass should have a plastic bush in it that then engages with a pin on the lifting mechanism.
