02GF74
Instead of using air to lock an ARB, would using hydraulic fluid work instead? Something like having a sprung handle on a brake cyclinder with the tubing connected to the locker instead of air line? This would avoid having to have an air compressor and activation would be instant should one forget to turn on the compressor?

dollythelw
Nah, the ARB seals wont take the pressure
GBMUD
If you were to apply only limited (80-100PSI IIRC?) hydraulic pressure then it would work. Easier to make your own arrangements for a compressor if you are (like me) too tight to buy an ARB one. I agree, if one used a brake cylinder the pressure would be too great with only a tiny lever pressure. Chris
