DC_
Mate just rang me about his 90. 1989 2.5Turbo Diesel Usually everything is ok but today he went out to start her up and found that the glow plug light on his dash wasn't coming on. So after checking his wiring and anything else he can think of, he said he just kept turning it over and over and it eventually started. Any ides folks what can be the problem of the light not coming on? He's also checked all fuses. Speedy answer or suggestion would be great as we have a forest drive on soon.. Ex Member
On those, the glow plug power comes straight from the ignition switch to the light on the dash and to the plugs. Either the ignition switch is bad or a cable has come loose. There are no fuses in the system. Once you are past the first cold start, it will not need the plugs to start. DC_
On the blower right now. Will see if he's missed anything in the wiring. So suggest checking all wiring for ignition also? Cheers for quick reply
