bombx3 Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 hi on my TD5 90 2004 model i just noticed when i start her it smokes (blue and skinks a lot ) then after a minute or so nothing except a little puff off black smoke on full chat Quote
BogMonster Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Could be something like oil seeping past the valve stem seals, if it clears and doesn't come back How long do you need to leave it sitting before it happens on startup? minutes, or overnight? Quote

BogMonster Posted October 4, 2009 Posted October 4, 2009 Have you had any problems with non-start or the engine cutting out? One possibility might be fuel leaking into the cylinders either from a dud injector or past the copper washers that seal the base of the injector, though the latter is more likely to be accompanied by other problems i.e. non start. landy andy. Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Mine was solved by fitting a new MAF, Done by Porny at IRB developments, even tho the diagnostics did not say there was a problem. Andy Quote
