Hi! Guys,

Searched the forum, but could not get anything.

Was getting awesome mileage on my 2.5na 110 and after giving it for service the mileage has dropped verrryyyyyyy much. IS there any way I can tune the 2.5na for better mileage. Sometimes I can see the needle go down gradually. There are no leaks at all except a few where the injector meets the engine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I have a 110 hard top and have spent many hundreds of £££s trying to get it running as sweet as possible. I think I achieved a good result getting 23mpg. Not fab but for a 24 year levithian not bad! laugh.gif Whilst it is a perfectly good engine, I would save your money and INVEST in a 200/300TDi Defender - which I shoudl have done from the start. I am doing a conversion at the mo for a Disco 200TDi (nice ansand cheap as there's plenty of Disco 1s with bad casesof terminal chassis rot!). I'm sure plenty of the guys and girls out there will say it's worth it in the long run..Obviously it's personal choice

Thanks for your reply. Actually I am in the process of getting a def 200tdi engine soon. But till then I want to know why my mileage suddenly dropped & why the Landy is consuming so much of fuel. What is the way to tune the fuel pump?
