rtbarton Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 A bit specialised, I'd look under "Springs & Shock Absorbers" in Yellow Pages. I assume you mean the pins that go through the centre of the spring, not those that go through the eyes, they are standard Landrover parts. Quote

rtbarton Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Wouldn't any decent bolt do? G. IIRC the proper items are slightly tapered and the head is round to fit in a hole in the bracket welded to the axle. Quote
mickeyw Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Wouldn't any decent bolt do? G. Either make your own from suitable grade of steel,or failing that, use a high tensile bolt of the correct size and turn down the hexagon head to the required diameter. Quote
FridgeFreezer Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 From memory an M8 or M10 cap head bolt works pretty well. It's not exactly a fine tolerance application, and the U-bolts should be holding the spring on. Quote

Perfect solution! Quote

Phil Hancock Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 When i did my 88" springs some years ago it was M8 for the fronts and M10 for the rears. Quote
