4x4ledbury Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 ive drove my new 200 tdi defender conversion for 4 to 5 miles and the tempature gauge dosent move. And the oil pressure light stays on but if i earth the i wire out the temp guage goes straight UP. HAS DOES THE OIL LIGHT GOES OUT its a bit confusing any ideas any one Quote
Puffernutter Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 Have you double checked the wiring? When I did my Defender 200TDi conversion, I was lucky as I used a 200TDi from a Defender so it was a simple change of plugs. The oil pressure is a simple switch. What happens when you earth that one? Cheers Peter Quote
Puffernutter Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 According to my manual White/Brown is the Oil Pressure Switch and Green/Blue is to the temperature transmitter. Cheers Peter Quote
