henk Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Anyone who has the width (outside hub - hub) at hand of a 90 rear axle? Henk Quote
cipx2 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 If you take the trackwidth in the catalogs (58.5" or 1486 mm) and add 2 times the offset of the factory rims (ET33, i.e 33mm or 1.3"), you get 1552 mm or 61.1". Or you can look at someone's pics when actually measured it (indirectly) and got "almost exactly 62"": http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41770 Quote
missingsid Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 I measured my RRC rear axle awhile ago and got 1550mm. However that link shows 62" or 1575mm? Are newer 90 axles wider than the earlier RRC based axles? Marc. Quote
henk Posted October 8, 2009 Author Posted October 8, 2009 Someone is building a trailer! indeed a kind of off-road trailer most important criteria: it should have same wheels as my 90 Question regarding the axle: - use standard trailer axle (5 stud 112mm PCD) and make an adaptorplate? - buy an off-the-shelf axle with 5 stud 6.5" PCD from Peaktrailers? - make my own axle from a straight front axle of a Belgian Series 2x4 (no diff) and the hubs of a rear axle?
