Happyoldgit Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I can't be bothered to read all that upper case text, the inside has that vardo look about it. Quote
bow Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 very new age traveler/gypo, loving the wood,NOT.. but this is just my opinion and reflects in no way what others may think... Quote
landmannnn Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 It looks like the a joint venture between NATO and a canal boat company. Quote
Godlykepower Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Actually, I quite like it in some ways! The chimmney in question is a bit pikey, and the interior does indeed remind me of a canal boat holiday I went on as a young boy, but I think with a bit of work, you could have the makings of a half decent tourer. disco_al Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 James May has been round that one - especially with the wood interior and wood burner. Quote
lansalot Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I saw that vehicle in Inverness a few months back and got a couple of photos of it. Pretty weird bit of kit... Quote
errol209 Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I'M SORRY, CAN EVERYONE SPEAK UP A BIT, MY EARS ARE STILL RINGING Quote
outdoor_ian Posted October 10, 2009 Author Posted October 10, 2009 With a bit of work it could be a sauna on wheels Quote
Holyzeus Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Apart from the Romany interior i like it, nothing wrong with the wood burner in my eye's Quote
twizzle Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 Have a look at this link My link What do you all think? By the way its not mine just incase anyone was wondering. now this is my type of truck wood i feel at home TWIZZLE Quote
FridgeFreezer Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 It's a bit off the wall but I can imagine far worse vehicles to take on holiday. Not sure I'd want to perform any high speed manoeuvres in it with a cast iron stove in the boot. Quote
TheRecklessEngineer Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 I agree with FF. In some ways I quite like it, and it seems quite well suited to the task for which it was built. Not enough space for windsurfing kit for me, and the stove isn't so important in Greece.... Quote
Bowie69 Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Well I like it too... bit twee but I think I could live with that Quote
ejparrott Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 not sure the pictures do much to sell it...just a record of the owners holidays.... Quote

If that is the only constructive critism you can make, then don't bother aye! Me I like it, and from someone who has, at sometime in their life, actually lived in a converted van, then I can appreciated what he has created. LOOK and READ, dont just SCOFF! Quote
