Jurriaan Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 A friend of mine has a 110 with a chassis which needs to be changed. She hasn't got the skills and time to do it herself unfortunately. Asked for a price quote for her at some companies here in Holland, but they are only experienced in changing RRC chassis and quote crazy prices for a One Ten. She has bought a new Genuine Parts chassis already, and that will be Dutch DVLA inspected before being galvanized and supplied with the vehicle. Do you know any companies who are experienced in chassis changes? Any idea on pricing for just the chassis change so she knows for how much she needs to start saving? The car is a 1984 110 CSW V8 manual with LPG. Is running and driving fine, so no other work required. She'd prefer a location in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or UK. Quote

Jurriaan Posted October 11, 2009 Author Posted October 11, 2009 Thanks for the replies! Will pass on the information, and she'll call the companies after the paperwork at the DVLA and galvanising are finished. Quote

callum Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 http://www.strathearnengineering.com/chassispage.htm these people do lots of chassis changes. ferry from bruges to rosyth and then 30min drive. costs start adding up when you involve ferry journeys though. Quote

But the crazy Dutch tell they haven't got any time or quote 4500 euros without the new chassis... I think it should be possible for less than half of that. Quote
