I'm doing a rebuild of a spare LT230 and I think the nut size of the output flanges (front and rear) is 27mm and I don't have a 27mm socke. Before I go and buy a very infrequently used socket I just want to confirm that is the correct size?

Hello

Mine has 30mm. nuts. Can you measure across flats to check your's?

Yeah sorry boys, my bad, it is in the tech archive, one of Les's extensive rebuild photo montages and it's 30mm not sure how I missed it first time. I would measure it myself but some kind fellow walked off with my calipers and I haven't got around to replacing them. Plus I live in an area dominated by the good old US of A so nearly all my tools are non metric, my wheel wrench is a 1 1/16" socket which is close to 27mm. So I'm off to the shops for a 30mm socket.
