I've started plumbing in a complete brake system on my RRC, has anyone got any photos of how they maximised their articulation of the brake pipes? I've got the +4" steel hoses but have free rain of how i attach them so might as well do the best job i can now, in case i upgrade suspension in the future.

I'd be tempted to say that unless you do a huge body lift and have +5 shocks you won't have a problem with +4" hoses -if you are planning a body lift in the future I'd mount the front ones on the chassis, rather than the inner wheel arch, just to save you a job -the rears are slightly different however....

I was thinking i'd mount them to the chassis alright. As i'm rebuilding it I'm trying to make it so that nothing attaches to the body so it can all pop on and off as quick as posisble for repairs etc. Do you think mounting it to the side of the chassis just infront of the coils should do the trick?

Cheers

I got some longer flexi's made up, ran them along the hockey stick and met the metal pipe on the bulkhead. Quite pleased with the result since the pipes are well out of harm's way.

On my quad bike all the brake pipes are flexi's from the master cylinder all the way to the wheels. I would have gone for that if it had occurred to me at the time.
