LIszt Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 The springs and shocks are now very tired on my '97 110 station wagon. It is a daily driver as well as used for greenlaning and the occaisional pay and play day. Off road tyres are 265/75 R16 and am planning on fitting a winch and hd bumper in the New Year. I have thought about adding a 1-2" lift to help with break over angle. I have used Decarbon shocks in the past and was happy with these. OME would be nice but they are a bit too pricey. What would people recommend in terms of brand, length and what have you to get the motor driving as it should? Many Thanks, Liszt Quote
headhunter Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 I have OME springs and shocks all round on my 110 and cannot fault the handling or ride. Worth the extra cost in my opinion. John Quote
q-rover Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Just replace with standard or original HD. Quote
LIszt Posted October 12, 2009 Author Posted October 12, 2009 Just replace with standard or original HD. That's kind of what I want to know. If I add a winch up front will I need to go HD and keep normal at the back? Quote
