A Wildin Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Hi,I have a 110 and may be due to remove the transfer box in order to change the bearings and seals. The question I ask is, do I have to remove the box to do this bearing change or can it be done in situ, and if so how? If the box has to be removed then what is the procedure? The tech archive is great place where people who know the ins and outs of a Landies finer points unload their collective knowledge in huge amounts. I found this one - http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=14601 and there is one I think by WHite90 about removing and refitting a transfer box more easily - 4 x12mm bolts if I remember correctly but I couldn't find it. It would be worth having a look at Les' article and the one I can't find and they should give you all you need to know. Other wise I'm sure some one who knows loads more than me will be along in a minute Quote
