Midland 48 Excel Multi

Recommended Posts

I've downloaded the Midalnd 48 Excel user manual and the Midland 48 Multi manual as there isn't one for the Midland 48 Excel Multi and I still can't work out how to change the country frequency on mine. It stuck on 'i' Italy so useless in UK :rolleyes:

tried holding down am/fm and scan while turning on as on 48 Multi but no good. Also tried every other two button combination while I was there

Help! :D

Cheers

Steve

Procedure:

1. Switch off the unit.

2. Turn it on while pushing the “AM/FM” e “SCAN” buttons at the same time.

3. Rotate the “CHANNEL” knob and select the desired frequency band (see the chart here

below).

4. To stop your selection, press the “AM/FM” button.

NOTE1: In the UK frequency band, you can select directly the EC band by pushing the

“AM/FM” button for 2 seconds.

NOTE2: If you select a frequency band which operates in FM mode only, the “AM/FM” control

enables the LCR function (Last Channel Recall).

info from http://www.cte.it/home_eng.asp

OK here`s your answer out of the book, your book infact, check your PMs.

Turn the radio on whilst holding the NK button

Rotate the channel selector until you get to the UK freq

Push the LOCK button to lock in the selection

Then PM me your address so I can get the instruction manual to you in the mail. :P
