Rear crank shaft seals

I have offerd to help out on replacing rear crank shaft seals on a series 3 with 2.5TD engine

having not a clue could somone tell me how to do it??

all i know is either the gerabox or engine has to come off to do it ..or does it?

pictures would be great??

All i can say on the matter is yes you are right engine or box has to come out but also the flywheel has to come off as the seal is behind that the seals will generally lever out but often with a bit of persuasion its a shame as changing the actual seal is only a 5 min job
