mattD110td5x
Always thought that the lack of "cup holders" in a D110 and the propensity of your drink to spill when stuffed into the tray on the cubby was a lack of design forethought. But, of course this lets you put something there that is a heap more useful B) or maybe... local cycle shop; $6AUD Are there other solutions? ttfn, Matthew
darthdicky
Looks smart Matt. A mate of mine put 2 on the fusebox which are fairly convenient, but a bit of a pain to get in and out because of the shape of the dash. I was going to put some small ones in there, but tend to use my Platypus chucked in an old rucksack looped over the back of the seat, with the tube looped over my shoulder now, mainly because I've already got one so I don't need to buy some cycle bottles! BogMonster
New 110s have two "cup holders" built into the front of the cubby box. Personally if I have to crack open a beer I usually just hold it in one hand, use the other for changing gear, and forget about steering much till I finish it (which isn't too long) also this way you can hold it outside the vehicle so if you do spill it on hitting a bump it doesn't make a mess easy really

GBMUD
Is that bottle of wine stolen? It seems to have someone else's name on it. Chris
mattD110td5x
New 110s have two "cup holders" built into the front of the cubby box.... but I need that little tray in the front of the cubby where would I put those special Land Rover things like; tooth picks, rollon sun screen, tyre pressure gauge, ball point pen, backup ball point pen, backup-backup ball point pen, phillips screws that have fallen out of the dash, 5mm allen key for the roof racks, 2mm allen key for the 27meg arial, charger for the mobile, electrical tape, fuses, backup fuses, multimeter, calibrated lengths of wire for bridging out dead switches..... ttfn Matthew
cols110
local cycle shop; $6AUD Are there other solutions? ttfn, Matthew Great concept, but how do you keep it on ice, does it adapt to the average 375 or 285ml beer bottle.
mattD110td5x
Great concept, but how do you keep it on ice, does it adapt to the average 375 or 285ml beer bottle. 285ml are called throwdowns and should be emptied in one go, therefore no "cup holder" is required, see Bogmonster's for more details. 375ml bottles and 330ml longneck boutique beers need one of those neoprene beer cooler holders to stop them from rattling The longnecks are perfectly adapted to the Defender, the neck stops spills that would easily escape from a stubbie and places the bulk of the bottle far enough away from your face that you can still see what you are driving over. The 750ml bottles are a squeeze and the sun is way past the yard arm on Easter Sunday... ttfn, Matthew

Hillbilly Raider
if you have the Landrover cups they hook to the lip on the dash. freeing up your cup wells in the cubbie box for all your little bits and bobs!
