Mainly for mig & arc, but i'd like to possibly give tig a go some time. Not fussed if it's not got a grinding option. < £200. No bells or whistles and crucially no knob to get broken off the outside or caught on stuff in confined spaces. By the way, the price is right, definately didn't cost £300! Plenty of options to choose from including Speedglas.... It does have a silly knob, but I can't say it gets in the way....even if it did, a bit of tape would hold it where you want it as it were.... Somewhere in the middle but in truth it is rubbish as it is only barely usable on the lowest setting and only then just. So my view? if the guys here offer an idea it is probably right. Marc.
