I have had 'some' previous experience with clothing and embroidery, so hence this thread The A&M Team are thinking (via myself and TC being Treasurer) of offering a 'one off' opportunity to purchase a range of 2010 www.LR4x4.com branded clothing. Personally I think that 'embroidered' is far superior to screen printed, although the costs are more, so ALL of the clothing will be embroidered. We are thinking of : Rugby Shirts, T shirts, and Baseball Caps, and Maybe Hoodies too. These will be on an Pre-Order only basis and you can choose your size etc Approx (AND I MEAN REALLY APPROX) prices would be : T Shirts £13 Rugby Shirts £28 Hoodies £28 Baseball Caps £5 + or - unsure as yet - just for a guide The costs are as yet not confirmed, as the costs reduce the larger the orders, but similar to the Ladoga costs. I will deal with Ordering, Postage & Packing, and TC as Treasurer the funds paid. What I need to know is a rough idea of who would be interested and how many etc, so I can approach the clothing manufacturers. This is being done to assist further with the Forum Funds and secure the funding with a greater kitty for the forum, 100% of all the profits will go to the forum, with no deductions, so now could be your chance to not only help with a donation, but have in your future possession an item, or items to show both this forum, and that you have helped support it. Lastly, and very importantly we also need some help from those members who have the skills to do so. We have the 'LR4x4' Logo (at the top), but in all fairness its designed to be "Office Friendly" and we need something better suited for being stitched onto clothing - so, please have a think, .... can you come up with a www.LR4x4.com Logo which would be really really good on all of the above ? If so post up your efforts of a great 'LR4x4 logo' one will need to be chosen - it could be you yours !! Similarly I need to have some idea as to if this is a winner - so have a think and post up what you might be interested in having in the way of an order if the numbers stack up, and a logo can be found that suitable then its a go-er So, post up either if you would be interested in clothing, and roughly to give me an idea what and how many and also post up any and all ideas on the Logo front. The logo would need to be quite good to fully engage my interest. I really dont like logo's that look cartoon-y/cheesy, or make you look a bit like a prat wearing it. Maybe a slogan/catch-phrase to go into the mix too? Something to incite people who see the web adress, to actaully look at our site? I would probably be more drawn to a hoodie and/or Beanie. Also matches the forum then Poloshirts would be great too I'd want: Hoddie x2 () Tshirts x2 Polo x2 All at least XL If it was Navy.. what colour writing would people want?
