darryloh
I'Ve searched everywhere for the answer and am more confused than ever. I have a 1984 A 90 with rotten brackets on the rear axle, I also have a 1992 J discovery for its 200tdi. Thoight I'd save myself some welding by swapping the disco axle onto my 90, but when I jacked up the disco with 130 000 miles on it, the diff has 10mm of end float play up and down. Will my 90 diff fit into the disco axle? Please help!!!!
western
Yes, they should both be 10 spline at the Diff end for axle brackets have a look here http://www.yrm-metal-solutions.co.uk/defender-parts-8-c.asp
