headhunter
I use Borg & Beck which were recommended to me as being the most durable. They do a heavy duty version that will fit a 90 and is just a few pounds more than standard. John
western
Borg & Beck is best make use the 130 friction plate as it's got 6 springs as apposed to the 4 in the standard plate, friction plate FTC1994 & cover FTC576 for 200Tdi same friction plate & cover URB100760 for 300Tdi
Les Henson
I agree - Borg and Beck. Valeo also do a kit, which is cheaper, but whenever I've replaced a Land Rover Cutch, if the old one was Valeo, it had broken, rather than worn out. The extra expense for a Borg and Beck unit is well worth the money. If you tow/go off-road a lot, then yes, the 130 plate is a good idea. Les.
