Phil Hancock Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 Im on the hunt for a Salisbury casing spreader, (tool number 18G 131C & 2 pegs number 18G 131F) to use to get the diff out of my front axle, has anybody in the midlands got one that i can beg the use of? or buy if the price is agreable. I have already tried the local Landy main dealer as well as a Ford(transit) commercial main dealer, also the local landy garage that does off road prep but no luck. See here Put a ring spanner on those nuts so that it is braced against the case You can then use a pry bar to lever out the other side of the ring gear, it will just pop out !!
