I went up with SWMBO and the dog in my 90, and drove from the Shepards rest to Goring, nice gently bimble out. saw plenty of 4x4's and 2x1's, all the 4x4's waved, a few of the 2x1's must have had a bad night as they couldn't be bothered to even nod their heads.

plenty of walkers, a few smiles, plenty of lime-sucking-facial-expression ramblers.... it was great to be driving there and to "stick it" to them, so to speak!

the surface on the Wilts side was nicely gravelled, in fact, if you ran a roller over it you could have painted while lines down the middle!

into Oxon it was a bit rougher, and on towards Goring it got quite muddy. you can see the "popular" bits (popular with the moaning walkers) that have been levelled to keep their townie shoes clean.

A good day though!

"Hello" to anyone who waved at me, in the Q plated external roll caged 90. B)
