sj_4x4
Does anyone know where I can get a left handed thread, lock nut for a draglink, part number 624018 ? I put my spare in a safe place, and well, you can guess the rest.

sj_4x4
good luck, hope you find one. Seems none of the big suppliers have one, obsolete part and all that, looks like I'll have to get one made :-(
western
that's a bit poor seeing as Brit-car were showing as available item, other option to making one is finding your nearest engineering fasteners supplier & see if the can find a suitable size LH thread nut. 101sean
I agree, was on a couple of fastener sites recently and they seem to list everything in metric and imperial inc half nuts and I presume LH thread but wasn't looking specifically for that. To be fair he did phone and apologise after trying to find another supplier, and monies returned. Still no luck with the illusive nut, I may have to make one by cutting a bit off the end of the tube, desperate measures but I need to up and running on Sunday. mickeyw
Are these by any chance the same thread as used on the TREs used with Sumo bars? Perhaps the manufacturers of them could help? Failing that, what about the 101 club? I assume that's what this is for.
