That indicates that the pully has been slack and has worn the keyway wider. Possibly because the bolt was not tight enough the last time the timing belt was replaced...

Time for a new pulley and woodruff key for the shaft. You also need to have a good look at the shaft to make sure it is okay and the bolt and threads in the end.
