tbeagley
Hi all, new to the site & Landrovers. Have had my Defender 90 truck cab for about a month & had a vibration that was slowly getting worse. Tracked it to the rear UJ on the rear prop. I now have an oil leak from the front of the rear diff i assume caused by the vibrating UJ. Is there anything i can do about the leak? Replacement seal? Cheers, Terry.

tbeagley
Thought the pinion seal leaking was down to my rear u/j falling to bits as it happened at the same time, but when the hub seal started leaking as well i got suspicious of the axle breather & sure enough it was rusted solid. All done now, no leaks. Thanks for the help, Terry.
