GBMUD
Checking and adjusting the rear wheel bearings earlier I discovered that the splines on the OSR halfshaft and drive flange are almost worn away. Is the halfshaft common to any other LRs? This 110 is late enough (2004) to have the Rover/Wolf/P38 type rear axle - just wondering if I might find a cheap SH shaft from something else - any clues as to the part numbers? Thanks Chris

GBMUD
Thanks Ralph. If it is only going to cost me £20 then I guess I will splash out on a new one. Chris
Aragorn
That shaft linked is NOT a rover shaft, its a salisbury shaft. You want the normal rover axle shaft, TOB500020 Its the same as the shaft fitted to later 90's too, and is compatible with the mushroom shafts fitted to earlier 90/Discos

TOB500020 is apparently a long shaft, I need the short one which appears to be TOB500030, though it looks like I need to confirm that by chassis number. Now it looks like I will be spending more like £50. Chris
