Front end old to new?

Hi,

Yes I did the very first one in May 2004. It was on a X plate 3 door.

The front is very easy and can be completed in 1/2 a day. Most if it is bolt off .... bolt on. The front panel needs to be cut and folded to allow the teardrop lamp. The connectors for the lamps are available from eBay.

The back is a bit more of a challenge and took a whole day. I had to cut the inner black skin of plastic (with a Stanley Knife) to make it fit, The lower door mouldings needs the tailgate to be drilled. and the pillar lamps need the three hole fixing to be drilled and 'square' shaped. (the original three holes in the qtr panels are NOT the same)

Good Luck

I see you have the spot lights in your front bumper. Did you use any specific loom for these? Or did you add a button to the drivers console and just used a relay?

Hi, the bumper came with the fog lamp holes, so I had to fit them (beware the bezels are VERY VERY expensive - so get them second hand) I did fit the pod bumper lamps these are available on eBay.

When wiring both fogs and pod lamps I used the correct instrument switches and relays with my own wiring loom.

Have fun.
