FreebieFreddy Posted March 21, 2010 Share Posted March 21, 2010 Hi again Mr Bean, I now have a 5 door and have taken the front section of the 5 door roof rails and bonded them to the rear section of the 3 door roof rails. I then fitted 4 cross bars (2 sets) I made my own ladder on this 5 door and my earlier 3 door. and yes I made the rear lamp pod as well. The front lamp pod was off a Camel. My split rails on a 3 dr. .... with roof pads..... .......... note the one peice roof replacement (of the glass or plastic panels) This allowed me to carry and support the much larger sleeping roof box. My FL2 also has roof rails and I have the old Halford cross bars which I have fitted bike racks to and I have the proper Landrover crossbars which I keep in the nice carry case in the boot.
