Don Del
I own a Defender 110 V8 Station Wagon in Bolivia. The vehicle was imported new by the US Drug Enforcement Agency in January 1999 and the VIN is SALLDHMV8XA15982. I am currently in the UK and I would like to buy a spare fuel pump. I have contacted my local LR dealer but they are unable to help because they do not recognise the VIN, apparently it should have six numbers for the chassis number instead of the five I have. Can anybody help me with a part number for the fuel pump?

Thanks for the reply and the web address. The dealer was right, I checked my records and I had dropped a digit.I must admit to being somewhat taken aback when I checked back with dealer and was quoted £375 including VAT!
