Hybrid_From_Hell
Hi all Axle thats now scrap is a 1988 ish Range Rover, issue is the stub shafts Bearing have spun on the stubs, I also have a 200 TDi Disco Front axle in the shed I was expecting the RR axkle to be Wide stub and the 200 TDi to be narrow stub, but, to my amazement the stubs seem the same lengths ? Is it just 300 TDis that have narrow / short stubs, with the needle roller bearing in the back ? Nige
Off Road Toad
Early discos had wide hubs. the stubs should fit. Later 200 discos have narrow hubs but retain the 10 sline inners Steve.

white90
Nige late 200TDI have the narrow stubs onwards thin drive members are a clue but not definitive.
Aragorn
changeover on discos is chassis number "J", so pre-J you'll have the wide stubs.
