lapperz
hi ive noticed oil splating on the rear wheel, there isnt a rubber centre cap on, is this why, or is there a seal or something thats gone, cheers
Les Henson
If it's on the outside of the wheel, then it's either the hub cap missing (if there's supposed to be one on it), or the drive member gasket. Les.
Litch
There should be an oil-cap fitted to the end of the drive-flange (look at the other wheels to see if they have them or if they have gone missing as well).Fit a new one (not expensive at 99P brand new) and all should be well. western
think its the hub cap you need one of these FRC4377 drop it in hot water fora few minutes, dry it, put a splash of EP90 in & fit to hub driving member, it'll grip tight as it cools. western
check the breather for what that it's clear, not blocked, it allows the axle to breath & lets excess pressure escape.
