4x4ledbury Posted April 7, 2010 Share Posted April 7, 2010 I've recently had my starter go on my 200tdi after being in water.so I took it out and put the old td starter in it's place.well when cranking the td starter makes a wosshing grinding sound then it fires and the emgine runs fine .could it not be alligned with the fly wheel properly or could it be the solinoid not kicking the bendix out properly to engage any ideas please Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
