Power steering arm ball joint!

Hello

I'm trying to find out if there are different replacment ball joints that go in the arm off the power steering joint. Maybe from a disco or defender as well.

The reason being, that i have a 101 fc track rod end that can be rebuilt using these, but the stanadard item isn't quite long enough to allow the use of a castle nut.

Has any one got any suggestions?

Cheers

Chris

Use a nyloc nut?

I think thats the only alternative. Although the thread length may determine whether a washer will fit behind it <_<

I thought there maybe different types due to the dates this ball joint is used up to. However in hindsight i think the cut off date is when they changed the Powersteering drop arm type so that the ball joint is part of the drag link and not the drop arm.
