Adam Faal Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 Hello, I have a 1984 Ex-MOD Ninety (SALLDVAC7AA264476). It is RHD but I want to convert it to LHD. I have a pretty good idea about how to do it, the problem is sourcing parts as early Defenders are very rare in Sweden where I live. Discoverys on the other hand are plentiful. I was thinking I could get an Disco I and get all the parts I need from it. I am planning to get the complete front end, including axle, brakes, steering and so on. (Another plus with this solution is that I can later swap over the 200tdi and power steering too, at no extra cost...) Question is, will it fit? Adam Faal Posted April 17, 2010 Author Share Posted April 17, 2010 Or as a budget alternative to the Disco axle, I could keep the original axle and just change the swiwel housing to one with an arm for the tie rod? problem is that I havent been able to find which ones will fit my Ninety.
