Tibout Posted April 19, 2010 Share Posted April 19, 2010 Hi there my landy 90 is having trouble with the gearbox 2months ago I have to give it a good knock to engage on reverse but now it doesn't engage at all but the other seems fine! I'm suspecting my plunger but not sure I'm pretty novice at working on landy but I would appreciate if I can get some help how do I know it's the plunger and I want to give it a go myself is it hard to change!! Any advice how to get to it remove and replace please! Also if you can what part number I need to order! It's 90 1988 TD 2.5 and have an lt77 gearbox. This has come up in the last week. http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=54478 Take a look at the thread and consider overhauling the plunger before replacing it - it may just need a good grease and slight adjustment.
