snagglebag
hi can anyone tell me the difference between es3000 procomps and es9000's apart from the no's?? is one a firmer one than the other and which one would suite my defender 90 truck cab with cage and front/rear winches? cheers gavin
nicks90
for a 90 you should be using es9000. Although with a cage and winch etc, you;ll be quite heavy and the procomps arent renowned for their massive damping capabilities. You may find yourself underdamped. snagglebag
what would you use? im looking at using extreme for my springs as they were more than helpfull when i enquiered about them. cheers gavin
nicks90
depends on budget. i currently use procomp but i dont have a cage etc and i do find them a bit soft even on a relatively standard weight 90.. if i had the cash i would get something trick like Fox, but more realistic OME or Bilsteins. Even more realistic on my non-existant budget would be terrafirma. Being completely realistic, i'll stick with ny 8 year old procomps until they leak their guts out cos i aint got no money...... snagglebag
just had a look at the site and im going to join it as rtv trials will take the mundain out of pay and play sites. i tend to take some markers with me on the play days and set out some courses on areas you would normally just skip. it makes it more interesting
