will4x4
Hi i changed my king pins and forgot to the swival housing seal..... very annoying. its now got worse and is leaking quite a bit. as a quick change is it possible to pull the cv / shaft out and then undo the bolts around the axle caseing and put the seal on from behind? I think it will work in theory just dont really want to do a complete strip down again..? thanks Will
Retroanaconda
Can do that, or you can do the 'bodge' in the tech archive, which consists of cutting the seal and re-gluing it at the top

shanghai1979
Are they filled with EP80 or one shot grease? Land rover couldn't stop them leaking so they changed to grease.
